On September 2nd, 2020 we will be hosting a Biophysical Society sponsored virtual networking event, "Fundamentals for Repurposing Nature’s Building Blocks in Advanced Materials Applications," delivered by two main speakers Ahu Gumrah Dumanli-Perry (U Manchester) and Melik Cumhur Demirel (PennState). The event will also include four short presentations from selected abstracts of graduate students/postdocs along with a panel discussion moderated by Ali Rana Atılgan. Discussions will continue in Zoom Breakout rooms with poster presentations. We would be delighted to host scientists interested in the field; particularly early career scientists are welcome to present.

Attendance will be limited to 120, and the applicants will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis.

Applications will be collected via Google Forms at this link. If you would like to present your work, you may also submit your abstracts through this page.

Event schedule and details are at https://www.biophysics.org/upcoming-networking-events/fundamentals-for-repurposing-natures-building-blocks-in-advanced-materials-applications.
